Winter Concessions is Central's Wisconsin's premier concession vendor. There are currently two primary locations Chip's Popcorn and Marathon Junction both based in Wausau, WI and serving surrounding communities.

Chip's Popcorn was founded in 1996 at the corner of 3rd Street and McClellan in downtown Wausau. For many years there was a popcorn stand located on this corner serving the downtown community. We are extremely proud to have brought a unique part of Wausau's history back to the downtown. In addition to serving popcorn we also provide some amazingly good brats, cotton candy, shaved ice, soda and a few other things just to knock off those cravings. Marathon Junction located in Marathon Park in Wausau is another unique part of Wausau history. For over 50 years Mothers, Fathers and Grandparents have brought the kids to ride our train. Over the years a Carousel, mini golf course, and restaurant have been added making it a great place to escape to with the kids and get some fresh air. Winter Concessions L.L.C supports many different area events helping to enriching the community we live in, you may have seen us at the 2004 Presidential visit at Marathon Park, the Woodchucks Baseball games, Wausau’s Artrageous Weekend & Art in the Park, 24 Hours of 9 Mile bike event, Rainbow Valley Christian Music Festival or your community fair. We have provided income opportunities through the sale of popcorn products for youth groups in the area to help them support their various projects.

At Winter Concessions L.L.C. we cater to your needs, whether you want a popcorn wagon at a company picnic in Weston, hold a birthday party for Grandma at Marathon Junction in January, or do a team building mini-golf tournament, we are dedicated to helping you make the event a success.
